Get “Out of the Box” and into a Circle!

Rhythm Culture workshops will reenergize your staff, while enhancing innovation, communication and project focus.   Participants are organized in a circle, facing one another after they select their own colorful hand drum and light percussion instrument (bells, shakers, guiros and clave).  This format ensures everyone can hear eachother well.  But with the usual meeting table or desk barrier removed, participants are also facing each other as equals, which provides a safer environment for risk-taking.  In about 10 minutes, the group will recognize that “we sound better together.”

 

Teambuilding Workshops

Effective teams are those driven by individuals who understand their unique contributions to a project.   Tasked with the musical challenge of “sounding good”, leaders will emerge, creative staff will innovate and many will hold down the steady groove for others to build upon.  All this is accomplished within the fun, creative atmosphere of a drum circle, facilitated by Rhythm Culture staff to enrich musicality and group dynamics.

 

Communication Workshops

Through a series of interesting musical activities, your teams will have an opportunity to analyze their own communication strategies and improve their skills, as they learn how to get into social rhythm with customers and colleagues.  This workshop utilizes rhythm instruments in fun and humorous ways with time for reflection and creative music making.

 

Conference opener, closer or after-dinner activity

A 20-45 minute drum circle is a great way to entertain clients, customers and hard-working staff at the start or finish of a conferencing or trade show.  This format will reenergize and entertain participants through this hilarious, hands-on experience!
